Training Course on Gender Responsive Monitoring and Evaluation
About the Course
Integrating a gender aspect into M&E architecture is a critical step toward broad-based and inclusive growth. Gender equity and equality are recognized as critical aspects in combatting poverty and fostering sustainable development. Women, youth, gender non-conforming people, and other minority groups, continue to face marginalization, discrimination, and exclusion in most areas of the world, while continuous, real progress toward gender equality remains elusive. To create a more fair and inclusive society, M&E systems must incorporate gender equality into projects and programs. This necessitates the development of gender-sensitive policies, tailored interventions, and M&E systems. This training course on Gender Responsive Monitoring and Evaluation is aimed at equipping monitoring and evaluation practitioners with skills on how to include gender as a cross-cutting issue into their projects and various components of their M&E systems.
